KRONERCIRKUS is a Polish art/melodic rock band formed in '95 and led by Michal Matragon Worgacz (g/vo/key), who independently released their debut album "KOMETA KRONERA" on cassette only in '99, but broke up in '06. KRONERCIRKUS released their debut album "KOMETA KRONERA" independently on cassette only in 2006, but it was remastered with additional bonuses and reissued on CD for the first time in '21 from GAD Records. The original cassette is almost never found on the second-hand market.Later, "Sen O Wyspie" from this album was featured on the compilation "Polish Art-Rock Vol. 1" released in 2000 by Lynx Music, a Polish label that has released many high-quality melodic/symphonic rock bands including MILLENIUM. The band broke up after that, and this album was buried in the history, As you can see from the fact that the album was picked up by Lynx Music for their compilation, it is a wonderful piece of melodic rock sound with a lyricism and cold transparency that resonates with MILLENIUM/COLLAGE/QUIDAM, etc. and is typical Polish lyricism with a hint of shading. The middle part of the album, in particular, consists mostly of "crying" guitars and vocals.The title track is a fusion-style tune with an up-tempo rhythm section and guitars that push each other hard, while "Schizofenix," with its inorganic and metallic guitar riffs, is a joy to listen to. The title track and 'Schizofenix', which features Fripp-like inorganic and metallic guitar riffs. If you are following the Polish melodic rock scene, this is a hidden gem that you should definitely give a listen to! Newly remastered from the original DAT master tape. Bonus tracks include previously unreleased takes of 'Dream About The Island,' 'Simple Song,' 'Desire,' and 'Bagdad Cafe,' which are English-language versions of the songs on this album.
