The Father of Swedish Music Rouman's unaccompanied assaggio collection! Johan Helmik Ruhmann (1694-1758), known as the "Father of Swedish Music" or the "Swedish Handel", was one of Sweden's most important composers. Luhmann was a member of Handel's orchestra at the Royal Theatre in London for six years, and toured Europe to keep in touch with the European musical currents of the time. His "Assaggio" (meaning "prototype," "experiment," etc.), of which about 20 have been identified, was composed and published in the 1730s, suggesting that it was intended for performance. If these are technical exercises, Rouman's technique was considerable. This is a work full of musical imagination, and the violin's characteristics make it a great listening experience. American violinist Alison Roosmers studied modern violin in Los Angeles before moving to Sweden in 2012, where she began her studies at the age of 15, pursuing the baroque violin, which she calls "my true love.Utilizing a multifaceted approach that incorporates elements of visual arts, dance, and original literature based on the expressive power of original instruments and historical knowledge, the group is based in Malmö, Sweden, and works with many European ancient music ensembles and orchestras.
