Description:
The Blues Incorporated, led by British Blues legend Alexis Korner, 1962-65 BBC Collection! During the four-year period covered here, Blues Incorporated underwent three major changes in its structure. The first and most well-known was the period of their debut album, R&B From The Marquee, featuring the vocals of Cyril Davis and Long John Baldry. Next was late '63 to early '65, when experienced black American vocalist Herbie Goins led the band. Finally, from mid-'65 to '66, when the band was virtually without a vocalist other than Alexis Korner. Each of these periods left performances for the BBC, and this collection of BBC recordings brings these three periods together and allows the listener to listen to them in a stream.
