This is the debut album by flutist Alberto Navarra, who shot to fame after winning the “Carl Nielsen International Music Competition” held in Denmark in 2022. Since the 2022–23 season, he has been a member of the Berlin Philharmonic’s Karajan Academy. He is steadily expanding his artistic horizons by performing as a soloist with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra and the Odense Symphony Orchestra, as well as appearing at music festivals across the globe. In addition to the standard flute repertoire—the concertos by Nielsen and Reinecke—this album features Mozart’s “Concerto for Flute and Harp,” performed alongside harpist Ramanna.
