The Essence of Norwegian Romanticism The Lyricism of Nordic Melancholy The Noble World of Melancholy Agathe Bakcer Grondahl Agathe Bakcer Grondahl was one of the most interesting musicians of Norwegian Romanticism. A friend of Edvard Grieg. Gifted and talented as a concert pianist, he gave concerts all over Europe, and after suffering a hearing impairment at the age of 30, he devoted himself to teaching music and composing, mostly vocal and piano pieces. Her works reflect the nature, landscape, and spirit of Norway, and are full of lyricism with a touch of Scandinavian melancholy, creating a unique and prestigious world. French soprano Karen Vourc'h studied with Christa Ludwig and performs in opera and concert. She spent her childhood in northern Norway and has a special attachment to Scandinavia.In the album "Till Solveig..." (AP 002), she sang beautifully on the theme of "nature" in a program of songs by Grieg, Sibelius, Langström, and Debussy's "Three Litany of Litany". The theme of the program was "Nature", which was beautifully sung. Anne Le Bozec, professor of vocal accompaniment at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Musique et de Danse de Paris, performed with this recording. APARTE
