The Rolling Stones have been at the forefront of the rock and roll scene for more than half a century since their debut in 1962. In August 2021, the band faced a crisis with the sudden death of drummer Charlie Watts, one of the original members of the band. However, the band made a new album and released "Hackney Diamonds" in October 2023, their first album in 18 years. And in April, the band will begin its first tour in many years. The Rolling Stones' rare live archive from the 1970s, "Goats Head Soup" was released in 1973, and the single "Angie" was a worldwide commercial success. The band then embarked on a massive world tour. The first leg of the tour was the "Pacific Tour 1973," which included Japan. Unfortunately, the Japan tour was cancelled, but the concert in Perth, Australia on February 24th was recorded and broadcast for TV and radio programs.This is a live album based on the sound recordings used for the broadcast. Since the band's first Japan tour was scheduled to take place after this Australian performance, this live album features the same set list as the concert in Japan, which was a miraculous event. Two songs from the February 27 concert in Sydney are included as bonus tracks.
