Description:
Formed in 1976, Foreigner was a super band made up of ex-King Crimson, ex-Spooky Tooth, ex-Black Sheep, ex-If, and many others. The band's debut album, "Foreigner," was released in 1977 and sold over 5 million copies, making them one of the top bands in the world. After the "Head Games" tour, the band faced a crisis when a key member left the band, but the remaining members produced "4", which spent 10 weeks at No.1 in the U.S. and sold over 6 million copies in the U.S. alone. In 1984, "Agent Provocateur" was released for the first time in three years, reaching No. 4 on the U.S. album chart, and the single "I Want To Know What Love Is" became the band's first No. 1 single on the U.S. singles chart. The following year, in 1985, the band embarked on its first world tour "Agent Provocateur Tour," a 121-show tour that included an appearance at "Super Rock '85 In Japan" in Odaiba, Tokyo, on August 10, 1985. The performance was recorded for video and broadcast, and later aired on MTV. This album is a live album of the sound sources used for the broadcast. The live performance at Memorial Stadium in Illinois on September 22 of the same year is included as a bonus track. Imported domestic edition with Japanese obi and bilingual liner notes>Lou Gramm (vo), Mick Jones (g, vo), Rick Wills (b, vo), Dennis Elliott (ds)
