Porcupine Tree was formed in 1987 by Steven Wilson, who released a new album at the end of September 2023, and has led the progressive rock scene since the 1990's. In 2022, the band returned to the scene after 12 years with their first studio album "Closure/Continuation". In 2022, the band released their first studio album in 12 years, "Closure/Continuation," marking their long-awaited return to the scene. Their 2005 studio album "Deadwing" has been newly reissued by Transmission label and will be released in Japan in a limited paper-jacket edition in 2023! Originally conceived for the soundtrack of a psychic movie, the songs were newly produced for the album and included in the studio album of the same name. From the fast-paced opening to the fresh and beautiful ballad "Lazarus," the band dexterously deploys heavy and fantastical moods to create a worldview that naturally draws the listener in, a style only Steven Wilson could have achieved. Adrian Breu, who left King Crimson to pursue his solo career, guests on "Deadwing" and "Halo," and Michael Åkerfeldt of Opeth on "Aliving Somewhere But Not Here.*Japan limited paper-jacket version
