Halloween is the third generation of the German heavy metal scene, which has been gaining attention thanks to the worldwide success of Scorpions and Accept. The twin lead guitars and dramatic song development reminiscent of Iron Maiden on their 1987 album "Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part 1," and Michael Kiske's high-tone vocals, earned them a strong following in Europe and Japan. With this momentum, the band expanded into the U.K. and the U.S. In 1994, just before the production of the new album, frontman Michael Kiske and drummer In 1994, after the departure of frontman Michael Kiske and drummer Ingo Schwichtenberg, ex-Pink Cream 69 vocalist Andy Dellis and ex-Gamma Ray vocalist Uli Kash joined the band to complete the studio album "Master Of The Rings", which was followed by a limited European concert tour.The concert in Lichtenfels, Germany on November 20 of the same year was recorded and broadcast as a program on the German radio station WDR. This is a live album based on the sound recordings from this broadcast, and includes the encores and the complete concert of the day. The set list, which includes mainly songs from the new album as well as past representative songs, is a full live performance that conveys the charm of the new Halloween, and is a valuable work as no live album from this period has ever been released before!
