The second California Jam was held in March 1978 as the second edition of the 1974 California Jam, a super rock festival that has gone down in rock history. California Jam II" was held in March 1978 as the second edition of the super rock festival "California Jam" held in 1974. It was an even bigger event than the previous one, featuring 10 of the top artists of the time. The festival was broadcast live on ABC TV, and later the soundtrack was broadcast on the popular American radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour," and part of the broadcast material was released as the official live album "California Jam II" by CBS. The album was also broadcast on the popular radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour". With the discovery of the audio masters for the TV and radio broadcasts, this live album is now being released with the best possible remastering. Live performances by top artists of the time, including Aerosmith and Santana, as well as Hart and Dave Mason, will make this festival a great success.For this release, a bonus track, a performance by Forliner that was not broadcast on the King Biscuit Flower Hour, has been added to the album to provide a live album experience of the festival!
