Z Factor, a project by Chicago House originator Jesse Sanders and Vince Lawrence, who also has a record on the prestigious Trax Records label, released the classic "Dance Party Album" in 1984 as an analog-only pressing of 500 copies. The album features a variety of influences from different genres of music, including electro rhythm tracks with 808s, Italo disco/new wave synths, and bass lines with a clever use of the 303, all of which are different and "original. This is a historical masterpiece that documents the birth of Chicago House, and is filled with the origins and appeal of dance music that continues to be loved around the world.
