This is the essence of the political thrillers that the Korean film industry is known for, such as "KCIA Namsan no Dajin-tachi" and "Kakugoro Kinsen", and the passionate drama of the men exposes the too-deep darkness in the Korean political world! Many of the episodes depicted in the film are based on the true story of Kim Dae-jung, the 15th president of Korea, and his campaign chief strategist, Ohm Chang-rok. (Kim Dae-jung) and his campaign chief of staff, Oh Chang-rok. It is hard not to be surprised by the fact that this story happened in real life. The film's depiction of "political ideals and reality" is a poignant theme at a time when the qualities of supreme leaders are being questioned in countries around the world. As the light grows stronger, the shadows also grow darker. The role of Kim Eun-beom, a member of the National Assembly who is the hope of the people, is played by the famous actor Seol Kyung-gu. Lee Sung-kyun (Parasite: A Family in the Half-Land) plays Seo Chang-dae, who pursues the same ideals but works hard to be Eun-bum's shadow. He passionately plays the complex relationship between the two, who need each other more than anyone else but do not mix at a crucial point. The bond between the two men, tossed about in turbulent times, will move the viewer's hearts. The film is directed by Byun Seong-hyun, the brilliant director of "The Circle Dance of the Stray Dog with No Name" starring Sol Kyung-gu. He shows the depth of his talent by breaking new ground by portraying this film as an authentic political film with the weight of history.
