Spirits" depicted by composers from Romanticism to Takemitsu The second CD album by Xavier Lacq, a flutist in numerous world-class orchestras and a teacher of younger students at Kobe College, and pianist Masashi Okada. The "elementals" are the spirits of the four elements: earth spirit, water spirit, wind spirit, and fire spirit. Lack's varied tones richly depict the world of these spirits as depicted by composers such as Debussy, Takemitsu Toru, and Reinecke using the sound of their flutes. The booklet includes a commentary on the works by Lack himself.
