Based on a fleet-building browser game, the movie version of the anime "Ship This" has finally been released on Blu-ray! The movie version of the anime "Ship This" based on the fleet training browser game has finally been released on Blu-ray. The original is a popular fleet-building simulation game. The game is based on the popular fleet-building simulation game "Fleet KOREKUSHON" in which players train and strengthen a variety of "ship girls," personifications of real-life naval vessels, to form a powerful allied fleet of their own. An animated TV series based on the game was broadcast on 18 stations nationwide in 2015. And in 2016, it turned its course to the theatrical silver screen and began a new campaign. The original browser game has been frequently talked about on the Internet, in magazines, and in the news, as it has uncovered a potentially broad fan base beyond the support of the game's users, known as "admirals," and the old naval ship and military fan base. The film version, like the TV anime, features "Fubuki", a special type destroyer, as the main character, and depicts a new battle between the grown-up shipgirls and a mysterious enemy, the "deep-sea dwellers". We present a deeper story spun by the thoughts and feelings of these girls.
