Description:
The complete 13 episodes of the popular TV series and 2 episodes of the OVA are now available on Blu-ray at a new affordable price! One day, Sapporo is attacked by someone. Then a mysterious object appears, shooting down enemy planes one after another. Shuji flees frantically in the midst of the war, but what lands in front of him is Tasuke, who has been transformed into a final weapon with wings and a huge weapon growing out of his body. Based on Shin Takahashi's popular manga, which was serialized in Shogakukan's "Weekly Big Comic Spirits" from January 2000 to October 2001 and sold a total of 3.5 million copies in seven volumes. After the serialization ended, a TV animation series began airing in July 2002. The unique world view and sad love story created a great sensation, attracting not only fans of the original work and anime, but also many others. The OVA, which was produced by the main staff again, features a new character, Mizuki, drawn by Shin Takahashi, and depicts another truth that was never told in the TV series. 13 episodes of the TV series and 2 episodes of the OVA are included in this Blu-ray release in the highest quality*. The feature film was up-converted from SD material and converted to the latest HD format.*Enemy soldier translation subtitles can be selected for MISSION.1 only. *The music collection CD and special booklet enclosed in the complete Blu-ray released in September 2018 will not be included.
