The nostalgic yet new pop duo "Lafuzin" produces their own new retro music influenced by sophisti-pop, synth-pop, and Japanese new music/uta-yo, etc. Their debut album "Love Energy Motivation" will be released on September 21.Two songs (DBEP18) were released as 7inch cuts: "Lunchtime Love," a funky and soulful AOR song featuring OKAMOTO'S's OKAMOTO KOKI on guitar, and "Yes- No," a cover of Off-Course's "Yes," with its lush vocals and danceable beat. No," "JUNCTION," co-produced on the label with fellow neo new music band GOODBYEAPRIL and featuring a solid arrangement reminiscent of 1986's Omega Tribe, "Lunchtime Love," a pure, beautiful melody and a sophisti-pop/blue-eyed soul feel. The album also includes a number of popular songs such as "Laid Back Music," an urban mellow city pop song with a pure and beautiful melody and a sophisti-pop/blue-eyed soul feel, and "Navigation Ride," a midnight driving song. The lead track "Inspiration" intertwines exotic synth sounds, light rhythms, and a soulful groove,The album contains 13 tracks, including previously unreleased tracks such as "Silk Cardigan," a modern song number reminiscent of Prefab Sprout, produced by Kunimond Takiguchi of Streamline! The album is filled with authentic sounds that mix the cool voice and beautiful melodies of Mika Tamura with the essence of cutting-edge dance music and soulful sounds that can be likened to 80s New Wave by BRIAN SHINSEKAI.
