Description:
Soundtrack for Makoto Shinkai's latest film, "Suzume no tojikomari", to be released in theaters nationwide on Friday, November 11, 2022. This film features the "strongest" musical team in the history of Shinkai's works, consisting of Makoto Shinkai, RADWIMPS, and Kazuma Jinnai. Director Shinkai expressed his extraordinary determination to create a new and different theatrical experience at the production announcement press conference, and as a new challenge, he offered world-renowned film music composer Kazuma Jinnai to co-compose the music with RADWIMPS. Part of the recording was also done overseas (at the historic Abbey Road Studios in London) for the first time in a Shinkai film. In addition to the two theme songs "Kanata Haruka" and "Suzume feat. Jumyo" and 25 songs from the film, the album also includes two new songs "Tamaki" and "Suzume no Tears" sung by Yojiro Noda that were not included in the film and were created during the film's production process, making it a disc that allows the listener to experience the world of the film more deeply.
