The "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" is a masterpiece with a concise writing style reminiscent of a string quartet, full of limpid liveliness and elegant musical ideas; the "Serenata Notturna" is a chamber piece that effectively uses two ensembles in the style of an ensemble concerto; the "Divertimento" is an early work for string orchestra; and the "Serenata Nachtlang" is a work for piano and violin. Three early divertimentos for string ensemble. Mozart's orchestral works are performed by the Berlin Philharmonic, conducted by Karajan, in a highly polished ensemble performance. Universal Music
