Released simultaneously with the clear sky-blue vinyl edition of the album "One Touch, One Explosion" is the first-ever reissue of the 7-inch single "My Little Brother Rode a Flying Saucer." This single was released during the period when the band transitioned to a five-member lineup, shortly after making their full-fledged major debut with their first album "One Touch, One Explosion," released by Toho Records in 1974. Recorded in July 1975, the band performed this song in August at Japan’s largest rock festival, the “World Rock Festival” at Korakuen Stadium, just before its release. Leaving a powerful impression, the single was released on September 25 of that year. The track features a tense beat and performance. It’s a masterpiece where you can enjoy the raw appeal of the music without any sound effects overlaying the mix.
We highly recommend listening to this 7-inch record—whose second-hand prices are skyrocketing—at its original 45 RPM volume.
