Description:

In just one week, eight unprecedented incidents occur in rapid succession: an android made for a human pet goes out of control for unknown reasons, killing its owner; the android then destroys itself, and its electronic brain is initialized. Aramaki of Public Security Section 9, sensing the possibility of terrorism, ordered his members to investigate the incidents. When Batou and his partner Togusa head to the local police station to investigate the android in question, they are told by Haraway, a medical examiner in the forensics department, about his theory on the relationship between humans and dolls. He wonders why humans go to such lengths to create a likeness of themselves.... On his way home, he is informed that an android shipping inspector for Rox Solus has been murdered in a boathouse on the coast. Newly illustrated jacket by character designer Hiroyuki Okiura. 4K ULTRA HD cannot be played on conventional Blu-ray and DVD equipment.To playback this content, a recorder (or player) that supports the ULTRA HD Blu-ray standard is required.
