But she is haunted by traumas from her past and is creating a new dance piece while retracing her own memories. Against the backdrop of a dilapidated theater by the sea, a sensual ensemble dance ignites her desire, and before long she falls in love with Giovanni, who dances the lead role... Gradually, fiction and reality intersect, and the protagonist of the story changes from Alicia to Carl. Written and directed by Pontus Lidberg, "Return on Water" is a dance film in which reality and fiction intersect. Aurélie Dupont, who plays the role of choreographer Alicia, is a legendary dancer of the Paris Opera Ballet and is currently the artistic director of the Paris Opera Ballet. Alexander Jones as Giovanni is a principal dancer of the Zurich Ballet, and his well-trained body creates a sensual atmosphere that is irresistible to the audience.Director Pontus Lidberg also appears in this drama as Carl, one of the main characters, and the music by Stefan Levin, an active contemporary dance composer, brings a dreamlike tension to the story.
