Niek Baar's second album with Ben Kim! Dutch violinist Niek Baar studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Den Haag with Philippe Graffand and Peter Brandt, and then continued his studies in Berlin with Stefan Pichardt and Christoph Poppen. This is his second album, and he has won many prizes at competitions in the Netherlands and other countries. The American pianist Ben Kim, who won the first prize at the 2006 Munich International Competition and has since released solo albums on SONY and DECCA labels, will be performing works by Mr. and Mrs. Schumann in the 2022/2011 season. The two have performed together during the 2022/2011 season.
