The singer, Soledad Cardoso, has won prizes at vocal competitions in Barcelona and Clermont-Ferrand, and studied at the Queen Sofia University of Music with Alfredo Krauss and Teresa Berganza. She has appeared in numerous operas, including "The Marriage of Figaro," "Don Carlo," and "Manon" at the Teatro Real, and has recorded mainly in the old music repertoire for ALPHA, Glossa, HMF, and NAXOS.
