Cirith Ungol, one of the pioneers of doom metal, releases a new album. The songs are heavy and epic, and the high tone vocals are unique. The bassist is Jarvis Leatherby of Night Demon. Cirith Ungol, one of the pioneers of doom metal, was formed in 1971. Their debut album "Frost and Fire" was released in 1981, and the fact that Celtic Frost named their band after the album title only goes to show the importance of this work. Dead," released in 1984, is still revered by many fans today as a doom metal classic. After releasing two more albums, "One Foot in Hell" (1986) and "Paradise Lost" (1991), the band disbanded in 1992. Ironically, just as they were about to cease their activities, Cathedral, led by Lee Dorian, started the doom metal boom. As a result, Cirith Ungol gained cult status as the father of doom metal. They too returned to the scene in 2003.In 2008, the band released their first new album in 29 years, "Forever Black," which surprised enthusiasts around the world with Cirith Ungol's unchanged style from the 80s. Now, her first new album in three years, "Dark Parade," has been released. Naturally, there is no change in Cirith Ungol. This time, Cirith Ungol continues to deliver heavy, epic doom metal. Tim Baker's unique vocals are as usual. The bassist is Jarvis Leatherby of Night Demon, as on the previous album.
