Meowwave, a true new wave punk band from 2025, is releasing a new CD in tanzaku format! The lead track is a powerful cover of "Radar Man," a classic song by the legendary new wave band "Halmens," which was also covered by Jun Togawa. The band includes members from the post-2020 reunion of Halmens and Shonen Homeruns, and the unique kawaii of the vocalist, Eve Nyan Roller Coaster, intersects and sparks the band! The result is more intense and poppy than anything Radar Man has ever done! The coupling track is "Papa Pico Nandroid," an original tune with a hint of American New Wave in its seamlessly repeated riffs. This song is already well-known at live performances, but you will definitely be swamped by the different world of lyrics and vocals of Eve Nyan Roller Coaster, which you can never experience in a cover song!
