The album delves into a wide range of idols including Saori Minami, Pink Lady, Hitomi Ishikawa, Mako Ishino, Seiko Matsuda, Iyo Matsumoto, Hiroko Yakushimaru, Momoko Kikuchi, Onyanko Club, Morning Musume, Nogizaka46, etc., and also Yoko Nagayama, Tomomi Nishimura, Maki Edo, Nami Shimada, Yumeko Kitaoka, and many more, showing the love and homage to idols from all ages. The CD is an exploration and adventure-type CD that allows you to relive the love and homage to idols through a variety of Western music numbers from the past, present, and the future. The "girl idol" has become an indispensable part of the Japanese music business. The phenomenon of "girl idols" has become an indispensable part of the Japanese music business. In this first installment of "Pops Tokimeki Junction! -Songs that influenced 80s idols. was aired from 1971 to 1983, the period of the "first and second golden age of idols," I have collected 20 Western songs released from the 1940s to the late 1960s that had some influence on the remaining songs of that period.In selecting the songs, we focused on whether the essence of pop music from the 50s and 60s has been successfully digested, and we have tried to include not only standard material but also unexpected items in an unbiased manner. In the liner notes, I may or may not give the correct answer or subtle hints depending on the song, but as a songwriter, I am more than happy if you feel that "solving the mystery" is part of the fun of this disc.
