Swingin' on a Star," a hit song popular among mod fans in the U.K., was recorded in 1963 by Big Dee Irwin, a solo artist turned singer with the R&B group The Pastels, and reached No. 38 in the U.S. Little Eva, who also belonged to Dimension Records, joined the album as a guest singer. Little Eva, who also belongs to Dimension Records, participated as a guest singer. This CD is a "pseudo collaboration disc" that alternately features solo singles by both singers, allowing listeners to enjoy a variety of great American pop songs by Carole King and Jerry Goffin, who were Dimension's main writers.
