The first Japanese collection of Oskar Merikanto songs by Suzuki Hiroyuki (baritone) and Tamada Hiroto (piano). Suzuki, who was described as "my son" by the famous Finnish baritone Jorma Hunninen, sings based on his precise interpretation, while Tamada's sensitive and dynamic touch painstakingly depicts the background scenes of the songs, further highlighting the depth of each piece. ＜Suzuki Hiroyuki (baritone) was born in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Graduated from the Music Department of Shinai Gakuen High School (now Hamamatsu Gakugei High School). Graduated from Nagoya College of Music, Department of Vocal Music. Studied in Finland from 2008 to 2013. She received her diploma from the summer master class at Jocheno University in Finland. She has studied with Masako Tashiro, Shigeo Harada, Kohei Okumura, Jorma Hynninen, and Marja Holopainen-Tateno. She won the third prize (highest prize) in the singing course of the 8th Osaka International Music Competition in the vocal division.In opera, he has appeared as a principal cast member in "The Magic Flute" (Papageno), "Madama Butterfly" (Sharpless), "Cavalleria Rusticana" (Alfio), "Dido and Aeneas" (Aeneas), "Carmen" (Dan Cairo, Morales), "Heaven and Hell" (Jupiter, Mars), "Amahl and the Three Kings" (Melfi All), "The Thief and Old Miss" (Bob), "Hansel and Gretel" (Peter), and "Fujito" (Moritsuna Sasaki) as principal cast members. In concert, he has performed with many orchestras as soloist in "Symphony of Clervo", "Messiah", "Ninth", etc. He gave solo recitals in July 2002, April 2004, July and August 2008, May and October 2010, and December 2009. She has performed Finnish songs, including some premiered in Japan, in many performances to great acclaim. She has performed at many churches in Finland, including Helsinki Cathedral, Temppeliaukio Church, Helsinki Free Church, and Mullnmäki Church, and has a deep knowledge not only of Finnish songs but also of religious music.He has a strong connection with Finland, performing both Finnish and Japanese anthems at the Emperor's Birthday Celebration Reception at the Japanese Ambassador's Residence in Finland and at the Embassy of Finland in Japan. He has also recently commissioned Finnish poets to compose Japanese translations of their poems and perform "Finnish songs in Japanese," and has appeared on FM Hello's "Furusato Sound Library," CBC Radio's "Tsuboi Norio no kikikaeru doko" and NHK BS1's "Chikyuu Agora" among others. He is a member and steering committee member of the Sibelius Society of Japan, a member and steering committee member of the Japan-Finland Society for New Music, a member of the Finnish Society of Japan, a member of the Japan Federation of Musicians, and a member of the Tokyo Nikikai.
