From Brooklyn, NY,MOMMA", a hot indie band, releases their new album "WELCOME TO MY BLUE SKY", their fourth album in total. This album was selected as the "Most Anticipated Album of 2025" by "The FADER" and "Stereogum" in the U.S. music media, and is now available in Japan as a "Japan Tour Special Edition" with one bonus track to celebrate their first visit to Japan next January! The Brooklyn, NY indie band "MOMMA" has created a frenzy this year by performing at major overseas festivals such as "Primavera Sound", "Kilby Block Party", and "Outbreak Festival". This album, released on import in April 2025, was mainly recorded live by the full band and produced by bandmate Aron Kobayashi Ritch. It was their follow-up to the critically acclaimed "Household Name," released in 2022, and was their breakthrough album. It matches the raw urgency of rock, pop, sticky melodies, and taut arrangements. The emphasis is on good, clean songwriting that makes people sing along and make every word count, rather than sticking to a cool, heavy, rock 'n' roll sound.To commemorate their visit to Japan, the album will be released as a JAPAN TOUR SPECIAL EDITION with one bonus track, commentary, lyrics, and lyric translation!
