The Moonriders left an indelible mark on Japanese music history, surpassing rock, punk, city pop, and everything in between, and the dawn of old rock music begins here! The 45th anniversary of the Moonriders was marked by the addition of six young musicians to the band, and the stage was filled to the brim with the best of both worlds! Both the first half of the show was almost exclusively the Riders and the second half was filled with guests, both of which were at their best! Keyboardist Toru Okada, who had just been discharged from the hospital the day before at "moonriders 45th anniversary "THE SUPER MOON"" held at EX THEATER ROPPONGI on June 12, 2021 after a long stay in the hospital, appeared on stage in a wheelchair at the end of the show. He appeared on stage in a wheelchair at the end of the show. To the enthusiastic applause from the fans, he said, "This is the best day of my life. Always mild-mannered and gentle, he loved music and keyboard instruments to the end of his life, and in his later years he continued to perform on stage despite his illness and repeated rehabilitation. Once again, we would like to thank him for continuing to play his sound until the end of his life.
