Katia Buniatishvili, a comet from Georgia, a country that has produced many outstanding musicians, signed an exclusive contract with Sony Classical in 2011 and made her debut in the spring of the same year with a brilliant collection of Franz Liszt's works celebrating the bicentennial of his birth. Katia Buniatishvili's seventh album is scheduled to appear soon, and it will feature a coupling of the concerto masterpieces that she has recorded for Sony Classical so far! The most famous concerto by Rachmaninoff and the melancholic concerto by the young poet of piano, Chopin, are performed with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestre de Paris, conducted by Paavo Järvi, who is now one of the masters of the piano.
