The latest from legendary harpist and vocalist Kim Wilson, longtime frontman of the Fabulous Thunderbirds and a Grammy nominee for his solo album five years ago! This is Kim's most blues album, compiled from rare and previously unreleased material she recorded in 2014 with three great blues musicians who unfortunately passed away in recent years, Richard Innes (drums), Barrelhouse Chuck (piano), and Larry Taylor (bass)! In addition to originals, the album covers songs by B.B. King, Howlin' Wolf, and others. Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1951, Kim Wilson formed the Fabulous Thunderbirds in 1974 after meeting Jimmie Vaughan in Austin, Texas on an expedition. He made his debut in 1979 with "Girls Go Wild. In the 2000s, the pace of their activities slowed down, but they continued to make new albums and released "Tuff Enuff" in 2005. Although the pace of their activities decreased in the 2000s, they released "Painted On" in 2005 and "On the Barge" in 2001, and continue to be active to this day.In parallel, he has also released solo albums such as "Tigerman" (1991), "My Blues" (1997), "Looking for Trouble" (2003), "Blues and Boogie, Vol. 1" (2005), and "Take Me Back" (2008), and has played on countless artists' He has also made guest appearances on countless albums.
