The ultimate live performance that made EMI decide to record the album! This is the first appearance of the sound source! Schuricht himself was so pleased with this concert that he wrote a letter to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra a few days later (the letter is translated in the commentary). EMI was so impressed with this concert that they planned to record it. The result is a masterpiece that can be considered the definitive recording of the concert. The recording is in mono and was made by Rothweisroth, a U.S. military broadcaster with ample funds and materials.
