VISIONS OF ATLANTIS is a pirate metal band led by Thomas Kaser (Ds), CEO of Napalm Records, one of the biggest metal labels in Europe based in Austria. Since their debut in "Eternal Endless Infinity" (2002), the band has been active for more than 20 years and has released albums consistently, despite numerous member changes along the way, Christian Dusha (G), and Herbert Gross (B), the band continues to work with fixed members. The title of this latest release is "Pirates II," a sequel to their previous album "Pirates. It is a concept album, a sequel to the previous album "Pirates," with the subtitle "Armada," which means fleet in Spanish/Portuguese. This concept album tells the story of a pirate's battle with the Armada, the Spanish armada known for its invincible armada.The band released the first single and title track, "Armada," along with a music video to coincide with the release of their latest release. The video depicts a pirate (the band) sailing on the ocean, which is the concept of this work, colliding with a large fleet on their way to a new adventure. The symphonic music and the world view are a perfect match.
