Tokumaru Shugo, a modern-day maestro who manipulates more than 100 instruments and non-instruments, finally releases his first new album in 8 years, which reflects "I" who live with "songs". He has been sublimating various "sounds" into original music, and this album, "SONG SYMBIOSIS," is the ground he has finally arrived at. The number of instruments used in this album exceeds that of his previous albums, and is even greater.He recorded all kinds of sounds from his own instruments, traditional Japanese instruments, and ethnic instruments from around the world through microphones, and weaved them together on a precise and gigantic scale to create a unique pattern that no one has ever seen before. He performs almost all of the music himself, and with each sound, including field recordings, he approaches the meaning of "the sound being there.
