Fred Purser, formerly known for his work with PENETRATION and TYGERS OF PAN TANG, is making a comeback to the scene after 30 years! He has begun work in the studio. John Deverill, the face of TYGERS OF PAN TANG, fully participates in the vocal position. The enthusiasm of the two completed "Square One". After releasing their debut album "Wild Cat", TYGERS OF PAN TANG decided to weather the storm of the punk movement and began searching for a singer with power and potential. After placing an ad in Melody Maker magazine seeking members, TYGERS OF PAN TANG found John, who stood out among the many singers who applied, as Jess Cox's successor. John then decided to pursue a professional career, releasing the album "Spellbound" in 1981, featuring the energetic guitar of young John Sykes and the powerhouse vocals of John Devaril. The album was well received and led to a headlining tour.After the release of "Crazy Nights", John Sykes left the band. One day, when the band was about to tour France, they suddenly decided to bring in Fred Purser, who had been with PENETRATION, as the new guitarist. Fred asked, "Can you play the set list in a week?" Fred responded with a brilliant performance at the Paris show seven days later. Unaffected by the turmoil caused by the breakup of the TYGERS, Fred and his friend John, the singer of the TYGERS, formed a new band.
