Kate Sikora is a female singer-songwriter from New Jersey, USA. She is a female singer-songwriter based in Tokyo, Japan, and released her first album "Grace In Rotation" in 2005 in the U.S. and 2009 in Japan. Kate's other unit THE LOYAL WE released their first album "HOMES" in 2010, and their second solo album "JUST ENOUGH SPACE" was released in 2012, featuring Glaswegian David Naughton, who has worked with Teenage Fanclub and Belle and Sebastian, among others. David Naughton from Glasgow, who has worked with Teenage Fanclub and Belle and Sebastian, was invited as a producer and engineer. His past activities include an appearance at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '09 "ROOKIE A GO-GO", a tour with the members of Deerhoof, an opening act for the beloved Liz Phair in 2010, and recently, many commercial music productions in Japan.Her indie pop style is often compared to Belle and Sebastian, Feist, Suzanne Vega, and others, and is characterized by her warm acoustic sound and sweet, gentle voice. She began working with her current band members, Minmin, Reiko (Kera & the Synthesizers), and Naruke Shingo (ti-ti.uu) in 2015, and continued working with producer/engineer David Naughton on their latest third album, THE DAYS. WE HOLD ON TO" contains 10 songs, including his first song with Japanese lyrics, "Under the Snow".
