syrup16g to Release First Full-Length Album in About Four Years, *CanonFeel* syrup16g, which marked a major milestone this year with its 30th anniversary, is set to release its long-awaited new album, *CanonFeel*. The album cover, designed by N.I.L1979, has also been unveiled. The album takes its title from the instrumental track of the same name. Inspired by a guitar melody, this piece features the distinctive “canon progression”—a beautiful yet bittersweet, nostalgic mini-composition that feels like a return to memories long buried deep within the heart. Linking to the meanings of “standard” and “norm” inherent in the word “Canon,” this album delves deeply into the essence of “what makes syrup16g unique.” The album features a total of 13 tracks: nine songs already performed live, plus four newly written tracks. A major characteristic of the sound is a gritty, raw quality reminiscent of their early masterpieces *COPY* and *coup d’Etat*. It represents a return to their raw roots, reached after a long career. Takashi Igarashi (Vo/Gt)’s resignation, rebellion, and unique perspective on life and death are complemented by the tenacious and meticulous ensemble of Daiki Nakahata (Dr) and Makki Kitada (Ba). We hope you’ll experience this vibrant new album—which embodies the very essence of Syrup16g—with your own ears and on your own skin.
