Including a piano trio dedicated to Brendel (world premiere recording) and a jazz program! The Ruhr Piano Festival is one of the largest music festivals in Germany, held annually in the Ruhr region. The Ruhr Piano Festival is known as one of the largest music festivals in Germany, attracting pianists from all over the world, including Argerich, Lang Lang, Zimmermann, and Kysin, as well as many promising young talents.The 40th in the series of live recordings released by C'Avi-music features a talented Russian/Armenian woman who was also a finalist at the 18th International Chopin Piano Competition held in October 2021, and has been talked about for her high stability and deep musicality that is hard to believe for a 17-year-old, Eva Gevorgyan, a scholarship holder of the Ruhr Piano Festival 2020, will participate! Other young talents live on stage include Roman Borisov (Russia), born in 2002, and Pallavi Mahidala (India/USA), born in 1988. Kit Armstrong (born in 1992 in the U.S.), who also works as a composer, performs his own piano trio written in honor of Alfred Brendel's 90th birthday with his son Adrian Brendel and others. Also on CD3, jazz pianist A Bu (Ruhr Piano Festival 2019 scholarship holder), born in Beijing in 1999, combines his own compositions and improvisations with jazz standard numbers and jazz-tinged classical works such as Capustin. The program will be a wonderful jazzy program combining his own compositions, improvisations, jazz standard numbers, and jazz-tinged classical Capoustines. Tokyo M-Plus
