FEVER DREAMS PTS 1-4 is a work that explores many concepts and themes. Because the world was virtually closed to him during the making of this album, Johnny created the songs while concentrating on evoking his own inner world and the emotional and psychological states of others. Johnny states, "This album is an inspirational piece of work. I can't wait to record it every day. I couldn't wait to record it every day. The album looks not only to the present and past, but also to the future, with the firm belief that even in the most difficult of times, hope can endure. Songs like "Hideaway Girl," "Lightning People," and "Tenement Time" are anthemic rompers, while songs like "The Speed Of Love" and "Rubicon" take full advantage of the space the project emphasizes to explore and reflect. The songs "The Speed Of Love" and "Rubicon" are introspective, exploratory pieces that take full advantage of the space that the project emphasizes. Two key elements are common to all of the songs here. The songs all share two key elements in common: the wide variety of musical influences in the career of Johnny Marr, and the more direct, emotional, and deeply human lyrics in what Johnny calls "The Language of the Song".Recorded last year at Crazy Face Factory, FEVER DREAMS PTS 1-4 was created with Johnny Marr's longtime band, including co-producer Doviak, bassist Ivan Gronov, and drummer Jack Mitchell. The album was also released in Massachusetts, Massachusetts, and New York. The album also features Massachusetts-based singer/songwriter Meredith Sheldon on backing vocals throughout the album, and Simone Marie of Primal Scream on bass on three tracks. (2/2)
