La Marca's discs on the la dolce volta label have an image of British works, but this time, the album is a collection of mainly melodic works from her native France, including chansons and folk songs. At the beginning of the program, the chanson "Under the Paris Sky" by Edith Piaf and Juliette Greco is sung, and the chic autumn tones, which are clearly not violin, are very appealing. Satie's "I Love You" and Poulenc's "Love Lane" are both the height of fashionable. Although not French works, Tchaikovsky's "Sentimental Waltz" and Dvořák's "Songs My Mother Taught Me" will also make you cry.
