Tombel wrote many songs for relatives and excellent amateur singers. Many of his songs are attached to love poems in which women are the main characters, and the music is full of the atmosphere of the French Romanticism. The baritone Christoyannis from Greece sings sweetly. This is a rare recording of Tombel's songs, which are now often included in concert programs. King International
