Veteran UK pop/melodic punks SKIMMER's new album, their eighth, is finally here. The album was originally scheduled to be released in time for their 2017 tour of Japan, but unfortunately had to be cancelled due to illness in the members' families, followed by the Corona Pandemic, so it has been kept warm, but is now being released in time for the band's relaunch! This album contains many energetic songs reminiscent of their early works, and the mixing and mastering was done by Tomorow of THE HUM HUMS, who adores SKIMMER, and the sound is reminiscent of their second album "Still". As expected, it is a parade of sweet and sour yet sad melodies and harmonies, filled with everyone's favorite SKIMMER verses as usual. The guitar tinkling also has a nice CRUZ feel to it.The new version of "Goodbye Forest Lane," a great song included in the split with THE HUM HUMS, and "Lazy," a fast-moving tune that will make old-time SKIMMER fans crazy. This band can still go back to their roots even in their old age, and they will have to keep playing SKIMMER until they die!
