The dream collaboration was never realized. Will Ramos (ex-MONUMENT OF A MEMORY, AWAKE IN PROVIDENCE) then joined the band, and his tremendous singing ability and looks made him a hot vocalist on the metal scene. From the opening chorus and orchestration of "Welcome Back, O' Sleeping Dreamer," which opens the album, the twists and turns of the labyrinthine song structure, tremendous technique, and raw emotion explode before your eyes. The core of the work, "Sun Eater" and "Soulless Existence," also feature a stunning fusion of symphonic metal and black metal, and an even more vicious deluge of sound. Finally, "Pain Remains I-III," a suite of over 20 minutes in length, brings the work to a breathless, raging conclusion.Adam De Micco says, "Our greatest challenge has been to overcome the self-doubt and self-worth that has come from our many hardships and to conquer the enemy that is ourselves.
