1978 Billy Joel The 6th album "52nd Street" (52nd Street, New York), which won the Grammy Award for Best Album, is now available in analog format with the latest remastered soundtrack. Following the great success of the previous album, this is the sixth album created by the exquisite combination with Phil Ramone. The album featured a series of big hit singles, including the beautiful ballad "Onesti" (#24), Billy's theme song "My Life" (#3), which featured Chicago members Peter Cetera and Danny Dacus, and "Big Shot" (#14), a song about a hangover, The album spent eight consecutive weeks at No. 1. At the 22nd Grammy Awards, he won two awards, one for Best Album and the other for Best Male Pop Singer. Rolling Stone magazine, known for its critical acclaim, called Billy "one of the true entertainers of the 1970s. The album is named after the street where the CBS headquarters building and studios were located, a mecca for jazz clubs before the war. 2021 analog release with the latest remastering.
