In 2012, "25% Vivaldi," a recomposition of Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons," reached No. 1 on the iTunes Classical Charts in the U.K., U.S., and Germany. In 2015, Max Richter released a revolutionary work, "Sleep," an 8-hour-long music for sleep, and has been in demand for soundtracks for movies and TV dramas. In addition to his own representative works from his original albums, this best of Max Richter set also includes selections from his soundtracks, providing a bird's-eye view of the works of the leading post-classical (neo-classical) composer. In March of this year, the group made its first visit to Japan in 15 years, performing major works such as "Infra," "Blue Notebook," "Memory House," and the recomposed "Four Seasons" in the "Max Richter Project" at the Sumida Peace Memorial Music Festival 2019, which received a great response.
