The third Mozart concerto by the Abbado & Mozart Orchestra features two concertos performed by distinguished young musicians: Navarro, the winner of the 8th International Oboe Competition in Karuizawa; Carbonare, principal clarinetist of the Orchestra of St. Cecilia in Rome; Santana, principal bassoonist of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra; and Allegrini, principal horn player of the Lucerne Festival Orchestra, the Mozart Orchestra, and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. The concerto K.297b, featuring the virtuoso Zoon and the winner of the Israeli International Competition, Belmondo, is also included.
