A collection of motets by 18th century Belgian composer and violinist Henri-Jacques de Cruz (1705-1786), who served as music director of the Brussels court. As music director of the court chapel, de Cruz performed in church and at court and composed both church and chamber music, including four "Motets with Strings and Passing Bass" as well as a sonata for strings.
