Warp's monster Gonjasufi urgently releases "Mandela Effect," a remix/rework of "Callus" (2016), one of the dopest releases in history, plus new songs and covers, in a very small limited edition vinyl release!" The "Mandela Effect" refers to the phenomenon of "memories not adding up in the past (memories of the past) and the present (facts)," a term that came into use three years ago when news of Nelson Mandela's death in prison was broadcast on television long ago, yet the news that he died in 2013 at the age of 95 was reported. The title of this film is based on the concept of parallel worlds, which came into use after the Led by "Your Maker (Daddy G Remix)" by Daddy G (Massive Attack), which was released earlier, the album features a collection of black smoke faces including Shabazz Parasez, King Britt, Russ G, Moore Mather, and Perella Elswear. Also included is a cover of Beth Gibbons (Portishead) & Rustin Mann's "Show" by Gonjasufi himself, and a new song with Tony Allen, "Etherwave.Limited to 100 copies of the CD and 50 copies of the LP in Japan, this is collector's material that must be fought over!
