The debut album of "Hermonella Yao," a highly acclaimed singer at the Royal Opera House and other famous opera houses. Born in Albania, Yao began studying singing at the age of six, winning a competition organized by Curtia Ricciarelli, and later studied singing and piano in earnest in Italy at the Accademia Nazionale di Mantova and Santa Cecilia. She has won many competitions and was awarded the "Leader Award" at the International Opera Awards in London in 2016 and nominated for the Pest Singersong Award in 2018. Not only has she been highly acclaimed in many roles, including "La Traviata," "Madame Butterfly," and "Angelica the Nun," but her repertoire ranges from classics such as Handel and Mozart to Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi, Massenet, and Gounod, and her recordings with Opera Lara began in 2015 when she played the lead role in Leoncavullo's Zaza, and this recording is the result. On this album, she opens with an aria from "Madama Butterfly," one of her favorites, and then places rare arias rarely heard by Leoncavallo, Giordano, and others, enchanting the listener with her beautiful voice. Finally, Yao closes with another aria from "Madama Butterfly," a wonderful piece that allows the audience to fully appreciate her charms. Yao is backed by Andrea Battistoni, a charismatic young Italian-born singer.With his typical subtle and bold music, he supports Yao's wonderful singing.
